DENTON — Dr. Pamela C. Schute, M.D., is the new director
of student health service at Texas Woman's University.
Dr. Schute was an independent physician doing contract work
for the Denton County Health Department before coming to TWU. She
also has served as a physician for the United States Embassy in
Bonn, Germany, an assistant professor at the University of Puerto
Rico School of Medicine, an attending physician for Kaiser
Permanente and practiced medicine in California and Hawaii.
She earned a bachelor of arts degree in biology from Lafayette
College in Easton, Penn., and her M.D. degree from the University
of California, Irvine.
