TWU Family Day Set For Oct. 2

DENTON – Parents, siblings, grandparents, spouses and children of Texas Woman's University students will visit the Denton campus Saturday, Oct. 2, for Family Day.

“We want to extend a warm welcome to all the parents, families and guests,” said Jennifer Garrett, Family Day Committee chair. “We have a full day of activities planned. And by the time the day is over, we're sure our students' families will have a better understanding of our pride in TWU.”

The guests will have an opportunity to visit sites on campus, take a hayride, decorate T-shirts, learn Latin or Country Western dancing, enjoy a picnic lunch, take a trolley tour of Denton's downtown square and participate in TWU's version of the television game show Family Feud. The cost is $20 per guest. Children under 12 and TWU students are admitted free when accompanied by a guest.
