TWU Marathon to Raise Funds for Children's Miracle Network

DENTON — Texas Woman's University students will dance the night away Feb. 25-26 in a marathon to benefit children's hospitals in Dallas and Fort Worth .
Dance Marathon , a Children's Miracle Network program, will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25 in room 207 of the Student Center , located on the southwest corner of Bell Avenue and Administration Drive on TWU 's Denton campus. Participants must stay on their feet for 18 hours straight, until the event ends at 4 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26.
Dancers raise money by securing donations and pledges in advance. All proceeds from TWU 's event will benefit children treated at Children's Medical Center in Dallas and Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth . The event is sponsored by the TWU chapter of Helping Hands, the Campus Activities Board and Sigma Lambda Alpha Sorority Inc.
